    Has anyone used Rode mics for overheads? What are your favorite mics?
    What mics would you recomend for just overheads and the kick?

    For kic I would use a D112. A Audix D4 works well also.
    For overs, in expensive would be the Oktava 319. If you have some money then the Audix C101's. I use these and they are beautiful sounding.
